Extended Day

The Extended Day program at Holy Spirit School provides high quality childcare administered by a caring staff before and after school. The program is available for students in Pre-Kindergarten through 8th Grade. The Extended Day program is available in the mornings (opening at 7:00AM and closing at 7:40AM when the students join their classmates and teachers) and in the afternoons from the time school is dismissed until closing at 6:00PM.
Each child that uses the Extended Day program must register. All completed forms, and a registration fee of $30.00 per child are required for completed registration. Even if your child only plans to use Extended Day occasionally, he/she must register. If an emergency arises and your child is sent to Extended Day because you have not arrived at dismissal, your registration fee will be assessed with the first day’s payment.
The Extended Day phone extension is only answered when Extended Day is open. If you need to speak with the Director during regular school hours, please call 703-978-7117 ext. 1157.
Families who have outstanding balances from the prior school year will not be allowed access to the Extended Day Program until the balance is paid.
