Extracurricular Activities
ROOTED IN FAITH. RICH IN FRIENDSHIP. ALIVE WITH JOY.
At Holy Spirit Catholic School, student life is vibrant, meaningful, and joy-filled. Every child who walks through our doors is known, loved, and valued—not only for their talents, but for who they are as children of God. From PreK through 8th Grade, students are embraced by a strong, supportive community where friendships flourish, faith is nurtured, and lifelong memories are made.
Our approach to student life reflects our belief that learning and growth happen everywhere—not just in the classroom. Through school-wide traditions, buddy programs, leadership opportunities, service experiences, and extracurriculars, students are invited to shine as individuals while being part of something greater.
Fostering Community and Joy
- Fall Spirit Week sponsored by Student Council
- The beloved Turkey Basketball Shoot-Out
- Catholic Schools Week celebrations
- The PTO-sponsored Talent Show and Field Day in the spring
- Service and Spirit Days led by our National Junior Honor Society
The Buddy Program
One of our most treasured traditions, the Buddy Program pairs younger and older students to build friendship, mentorship, and community. Buddies sit together at school-
wide Masses, join in activities throughout the year, and form bonds that are remembered long after graduation.
Celebrating Inside the Classroom
Throughout the year, teachers also create moments for classroom-based celebrations, reinforcing the joy of learning and the strength of the classroom community.
Opportunities Beyond the Classroom
Students are encouraged to explore their interests and gifts through a variety of after-school programs and extracurriculars. Whether their passion is sports, music, academics, service, or leadership, there is something for every student to engage in and enjoy.
Here are just a few examples of student activities offered at Holy Spirit (subject to change each year):
- CYO Athletics
