Yes! We are really here!
Some things may look a little different, but the same loving and vibrant community is here each and every day praying, learning, and serving others.
We opened the doors to our students for in-person learning on September 8th and we have not looked back! We are blessed to be stringing together the days and weeks and are so thrilled to have reached a major milestone as we returned from the Christmas break on January 4th.
This year we chose as our theme “Protect the Creation; Praise the Creator” as we concentrate on the Catholic Social Teaching of Protecting God’s Creation. Additionally, we are focusing our monthly prayer services on learning about the lives of Saints who have a particular connection to the environment.
We still come together for weekly Masses; this year divided into two sections in order to be able to physically distance ourselves. We are looking forward knowing that the beginning of Lent is not too far in our distant future.
We had a tremendous Spirit Week in October while also raising money via the PTO sponsored Boosterthon. Our parents are tremendous and the PTO has found plenty of avenues by which everyone continues to support our school.
By working together and following the mitigation strategies that were developed over the Summer months, we are hopeful that we will continue to be together each day as there is certainly no substitute for an in-person learning experience for students.
We are here!
And we are thriving as we pray and learn in community each day.
